After our 14 hour flight from Adelaide we have now settled into the Al Mourjan Business Lounge Bar at the Doha Airport. Our flight was awesome, the ability to be able to lie down and actually sleep is something I have always dreamed of for these long haul flights. The food was superb as were the drinks, pyjamas and other gifts we received. It’s going to be hard to go back to economy now.

I did watch the documentary ‘Ice on Fire’ during the flight, I encourage anyone interested in the future of our planet to watch it.

We are now enjoying a Jameson’s and a Champers at 6am, well it’s 1.30pm at home so all good. We have another hour or so to kill until we need to board the plane to Amsterdam so we’ll just sit here enjoy our drinks, some nibbles and the people watching. There are people from all corners of the world here and I love it.
